- When you’re looking to start

Purpose: To assess whether my services are a fit for your needs and to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: Legitimate interests (responding to a direct enquiry from you). Retention: I retain this information for up to 2 years, or until you ask me to delete it.
2.2 Newsletter subscriptions
If you subscribe to The Practical Thinker newsletter, your email address is collected and stored by Beehiiv (my newsletter platform). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any newsletter email.
Purpose: To send you The Practical Thinker newsletter. Legal basis: Consent (you explicitly subscribed). Retention:Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your data.

2.3 Scheduling and calendar data
If you book a call via Cal.com, Cal.com collects your name, email address, and the time of your booking.
Purpose: To schedule a discovery call. Legal basis: Legitimate interests (fulfilling a booking you requested).

2.4 Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data including pages visited, time on site, and general location (country/city level). It does not collect personally identifiable information unless you have provided it elsewhere on this site.
